(Fact) I am an elementary school teacher.
(Opinion) Keep it simple, have fun, and put in the work.
I started It’s Elementary to build a community of parents, educators, and anyone else interested in building a solid foundation of language and literacy for the kids in their lives.

My outlook is informed by raising my own children (happening now), and 12 years of experience in Texas public schools, teaching reading and dyslexia intervention in grades 1-8.
